Friend,   For a young company, it’s exciting news whenever we’re able to hire a new employee. So, as you can imagine, we’re absolutely thrilled that today we’re joined by, not one, but two amazing new staff members! SAMANTHA VAN DORAN DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR Samantha Van Doran is S.T.O.P.’s Development Director. She previously served as both the Development Manager and Development & Communications Senior Associate at the New York Immigration Coalition, the largest and oldest statewide immigrants’ rights coalition in the country. Learn More FABIAN ROGERS ADVOCACY ASSOCIATE Fabian Rogers is a community advocate from Ocean Hill-Brownsville, Brooklyn. He has been on the front lines with his neighbors successfully resisting the use of facial recognition technology in their apartment complexes. Learn More Samantha and Fabian bring both tremendous passion and experience to this endeavor. Samantha previously led development for New York’s leading immigrant rights organization, and Fabian has been nationally recognized for his community organizing work against facial recognition.
