TSION Agaro - Civil Rights Intern

Tsion is a junior at Yale University studying Ethnicity, Race, and Migration, with a focus on critical data studies. She is passionate about topics related to the use of technology in policing, and the wider societal implications of technological advancements (particularly AI). She works with the Anti-Eugenics Collective at Yale, with a focus on understanding the legacies of AI in the fields of Statistics and AI. At S.T.O.P., she is excited to learn about the work that can be done against mass surveillance. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and practicing Spanish.
