Law Enforcement Facial Recognition Ban

S.T.O.P. supports Senate Bill S79 and Assembly Bill A5492, creating a 4-year moratorium on New York law enforcement agencies’ use of facial recognition and other biometric surveillance. The bill also creates a task force to examine the use and implementation of biometric technology.
