This Sunday, June 9th at 5:00 PM, S.T.O.P. is hosting its first ever stand-up comedy fundraiser. Meet us at Caveat (21A Clinton Street, Manhattan)—one of New York’s hottest comedy venues—to substitute Sunday dinner for a full-service bar and a full serving of punchlines. The show will feature sets from five stand-up comics and words from the S.T.O.P. team. The incredible comics are Vince Chuang, Nathan Habib, Naomi Karavani, Robert Punchur, and David Roth. Proceeds from the show’s ticket sales will go right to supporting our work. All attendees must be 21 years or older.
We also hope you can join us on Monday, June 10th at 9:00 AM ET for a press conference and rally on the City Hall steps (City Hall Park, New York, NY 10007) to call on the New York City Council to ban facial recognition and other biometric surveillance. The rally will be held before a City Council hearing at 10 AM to discuss two bills banning the use of facial recognition by landlords and businesses. Let's demand the City Council pass not only these limits on facial recognition, but a full ban on its use by police and government!

Now is the perfect time to get more involved in the fight against mass surveillance! We can’t wait to see you on Sunday, Monday, or both!
