We’ve worked for years to get S.217 / A.3306 enacted into law, banning geofence warrants completely. Even more, the legislation would stop police from buying location data. Alarmingly, today the courts hold that our Constitution simply doesn’t apply when police purchase data instead of getting a warrant. But we can end this abuse.
