Friend,
I know that a lot of people dread the prospect of ending up in court, but at S.T.O.P. we love it. Excitingly, thanks to a generous new contribution, we can now pursue more litigation than ever before.
That’s why I'm so proud to announce that S.T.O.P. was awarded $75,000 by FJC – A Foundation of Philanthropic Funds to expand our litigation work! And thanks to our pro bono partners, we’re able to make that money count, leveraging free legal services from some of the country’s largest law firms to amplify our staff’s efforts.
FJC’s support means you’ll be hearing more about S.T.O.P.’s groundbreaking litigation in the weeks ahead, as we pursue claims that fundamentally reshape civil rights and our protection from invasive surveillance.

As COVID-19 inspires an unprecedented wave of mass surveillance, litigation will be more important than ever in safeguarding Americans’ rights and public health. That’s why we’re so grateful that S.T.O.P. can continue to expand our work in these trying times.
With thanks,
Albert Fox Cahn, Esq.
