DANDY DOHERTY - CIVIL RIGHTS INTERN
Dandy received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Oxford, and her Master's from the University of Cambridge. At Cambridge, she was part of a research group at the Centre of Governance and Human Rights that produced a report on AI surveillance, policing and protest rights in the UK. Dandy is a member of three policing scrutiny panels in the UK, consulting local and regional police forces on uses of force and 'stop and search' powers, as well as engaging with the national police 'watchdog', the Independent Office for Police Conduct, on improvements to youth services. Her interest lies in building public trust in policing, especially in the digital age.
