Carla Sanchez - research Intern

Carla is a technologist, advocate, and aspiring researcher who wishes to use the intersection of education, art, and computer science to highlight the social implications of technology. She recently received her self-designed degree in Human-computer Interaction from CUNY BA, has assisted legislators in policy regarding the environmental impact of data centers, interned at the United Nations Computing Centre, and has been the recipient of several scholarships, such as the CMD-IT/ACM Richard Tapia Travel Scholarship and the AnitaB.org Advancing Inclusion Scholarship.
